Once you have completed your course, and the required assessment work, your Tutor will advise you that you have completed the course. It is vital that you complete the End of Course Certification Form as this information is required for certification. You will then be certified during the next available certification date for the awarding body. Provisional details of upcoming certification dates are here. Your completed assessment will then be Internally Verified by the college. The Internal Verifier will check your course work.  If any issues are identified you will be notified during this process. Once you are successfully verified, your work will be presented to an External Authenticator who will sample the work.

• For QQI awards, a Statement of Provisional Results will be issued to Learners, prior to Certificates being issued.
• For ABC and ILM awards, certificates are released following successful External Authentication of work. As there are no final grades awarded for these qualifications the decision is to either ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’ (in line with the policy of the awarding body).

Certification Administration Fees

As communicated on enrollment there is a fee payable for administration, moderation and certification. You must ensure that this is paid prior to completing your course. The fees are as follows:

• QQI Major Award: €120 (reduced to €80 for social welfare recipients/medical card holders).
• QQI Special Purpose Award: €80 (reduced to €40 for social welfare recipients/medical card holders).
• QQI Component Award: €60 (reduced to €20 for social welfare recipients/medical card holders).
• ABC Awards courses €60.
• ILM Level 7 Leadership and Management €120 / £80.
• ILM Level 4 or 5 Award / Certificate / Diploma €60 / £50.
