Assessment Timelines and Deadlines

Deadlines:

Assessment submission deadlines will vary depending on the type and duration of the programme that is being undertaken. The deadlines are linked to the course study timeframes and vary from 8 weeks to 52 weeks.

Timelines:

As noted in The Open College Communications Policy – Learners are advised to bear in mind the timelines for responding to queries as below:

• General Queries – 24 to 48 hours excluding weekends
• New Registrations – Between 3-5 working days
• Extension Requests – Between 3-5 working days
• Deferral Requests – Between 3-5 working days
• Draft Submission Review – Between 5-7 working days
• Provisional Results – Between 4-6 weeks.
